A man was arrested after damaging the laptops on display inside a Walmart in Lely.
The arrest occurred after the store's loss prevention officer reported that someone was intentionally damaging laptop screens by slamming them against the loss prevention device installed around each laptop.
The offficer provided Collier County Sheriff's Office with surveillance footage of the suspect, identified as Timothy Ray Shepard.
He was accused of damaging more than $4,000 worth of laptops.
Shepard was arrested for Criminal Mischief and transported to the Naples Jail Center.
