On April 24, the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a wrong-way driver crash on Interstate-75 in Manatee County.
The crash happened at 4 a.m.
After investigating, it was determined that the wrong-way driver was under the influence. His breathalyzer test revealed a blood alcohol level of 0.15, which is almost twice the legal limit.
Luis Alfredo Manzoni Diez, 45, was then arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence. He was taken to Manatee County Jail.
