The Naples Police Department arrested five people Thursday after finding heroin, cocaine, guns and children living in dangerous conditions during searches at two homes in the River Park East Community.
According to the NPD, detectives served search warrants in the 500 block of 13th Street North. Investigators seized 335 grams of heroin, six grams each of powder and crack cocaine, four rifles, five handguns, ammunition and narcotics paraphernalia from the homes.
Detectives found evidence that the homes were being used to manufacture and distribute illicit drugs throughout the community. As a result, Jordan Dunnbacke, 39, Joylan Salters, 37, Brandon Perry, 42, and Martha Wright, 62, were arrested on narcotics-related charges, including possession, possession with intent to distribute, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Cadwaller Martin, 43, was arrested on charges of being a convicted felon in possession of firearms and ammunition.
Several children were also found inside the homes. The Department of Children and Families responded and took custody of the children.
"Let me be clear — we will not tolerate criminals turning family homes into hubs for guns and drugs," said Chief Ciro Dominguez. "When children are forced to live in these dangerous environments, it’s not just illegal — it’s unacceptable."
