A new United Way resiliency hub opened on Tuesday in Cape Coral, providing essential resources and support for families in need during hurricane season.
Located at the Goodwill Community Resource Center on Southwest Pine Island Road near Chiquita Boulevard, the hub will serve as a lifeline for families when disaster strikes.
The United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades Counties has made this possible, adding to the 17 resiliency hubs already established throughout the three counties. These hubs have been a safe haven for families, offering water and emergency supplies before, during, and after hurricane season.
The new hub in Southwest Cape Coral will serve as a one-stop shop for families to access resources such as job training and disaster relief. It will also provide health and wellness services and address food insecurities.
