An eight-time convicted felon was arrested by DeSoto County deputies for drug and gun charges on April 28.
Donald Carl Woods, 41, was wanted by authorities in Georgia.
He was arrested with 10 charges, including trafficking amphetamines, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, display/use of a weapon during a felony, possession of a controlled substance without prescription, possession of forged bank documents, possession of tools used for counterfeiting, possession of marijuana, possession of drug equipment, failure to register as a convicted felon, and resisting arrest with violence.
Woods was taken to DeSoto County Jail.
