In 1979, the Arches at the entrance of Fort Myers Beach had to come down to replace the failing swing bridge over Matanzas Pass. But it created an uproar. The goal of Restore Fort Myers Beach Arches is to bring back the arches.
Arches Cinco de Mayo will be taking place May 3 at Erickson & Jensen Marine Supplies on Fort Myers Beach. It will from 12:45 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. They will have more than $6,000 of giveaways in our raffles and a 50/50. Event will open with Rollin Low Car Club Low Rider Car Show. Rob Fontano is the lead local singer for recording Artist "Dirty Work." They will be playing during the event.
