Cape Coral received the final permit required to begin renovations at the Yacht Club Community Park on Friday.
This permit authorizes work in United States waters and the discharge of dredged fill material for the renovation of the yacht club.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers issued the permit.
The permit will cover the essential construction projects of the dock replacement, seawall and dredging, and boat ramp relocation.
The renovations are expected to be completed by November 2025.
