After many complaints, the Naples airport was looking for new ways to reduce the noise you hear on the ground by testing out a new way of flying on Friday morning.
They plan to reduce the noise by raising the altitude of incoming and approaching planes.
The Federal Aviation Administration will review the study to see if it is safe to implement.
The Naples Airport Authority says they are paying for the test, so no taxpayer money is being spent on it.
The new implementations may go into effect starting in October.
