Diocese of Venice in Florida showed its support of those with disabilities with a post talking about National Mobility Awareness Month.
National Mobility Awareness Month in May is about encouraging those with disabilities by helping to raise awareness of the mobility solutions available in their community.
The religious center says, "By raising awareness of mobility issues, the development of solutions is encouraged and progress is acknowledged. Mobility issues shouldn’t stop anyone from getting to their destination."
In the post, the church also mentions the late Pope Francis' advocacy for the disabled being able to have access to religious sacred rites and the ability to fully participate in their religion.
