An SUV crashed into two occupied apartment buildings Saturday afternoon in Golden Gate, causing significant structural damage to one of the buildings.
According to the Greater Naples Fire Rescue District, crews were dispatched around 12:30 p.m. after the SUV struck the buildings.
One of the buildings sustained only minor damage, while the other suffered serious structural issues, including a compromised load-bearing wall.
The department’s Urban Search and Rescue Team responded and stabilized the damaged building with a temporary shoring system in a bedroom.
No injuries were reported in the crash.
