"Good Morning Gulf Coast's" Jason Drew took us to the movies Tuesday morning when he went "Gulfcoasting" at the cinema and found out it is quite the experience. When you enter the lobby, you will be greeted by a giant T-Rex, King Kong and even Audrey 2 (the plant from "Little Shop of Horrors"). The hallways are lined with beautiful movie posters, depicting films that have some connection to our Gulf Coast area.
The bar offers delicious cocktails, craft beer, wine and more, including happy hour. There's more than popcorn served at this cinema. Alamo Drafthouse Cinema offers a full, multicourse menu where every meal is prepared from scratch specifically for you. Favorites include the Royale with Cheese burger, pizzas and, of course, fresh-from-the-oven, just-the-way-you-love-them warm chocolate chip cookies. Forget dinner and a movie, it's all about dinner at the movie.
On Mother's Day, the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema will be serving a signature white sangria. "Jaws" celebrates its 50th anniversary on the big screen with a movie party.
