A man was arrested on Wednesday after being accused of roaming around a St. James City neighborhood naked on multiple nights. Residents caught the incidents on camera.
According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, Genero Rosciti, 30, was arrested and accused of burglary, criminal mischief, battery, resisting without violence, possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, and violating probation, according to the LCSO.
Deputies believe it's the same man who was seen naked on residents' cameras in the Pine Island Cove neighborhood that deputies were investigating .
LCSO said that they received calls from the community that a man was skinny dipping in pools and running naked throughout the neighborhood.
Deputies responded and said they found Rosciti inside a lanai on Porky Lane. They said he resisted deputies and pushed neighbors down in an attempt to flee, but he was found and detained after some help from the community.
"The residents of Pine Island Cove went above and beyond to assist our deputies with catching this naked creep!" Sheriff Carmine Marceno said. "We will work with the State Attorney's Office to ensure Rosciti will receive the harshest penalty, and we will do whatever it takes to get him out of Lee County."
Rosciti was also the same streaker that Lee County deputies arrested in Iona last November, where he was found guilty of trespassing and sentenced to probation, according to the LCSO. He was also convicted of indecent exposure in Montana in 2017.
