On Thursday, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man who was caught uploading child sex abuse material to a Dropbox account.
The CCSO worked with the Southwest Florida INTERCEPT Task Force and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force to arrest Raymond Denton, 30.
An investigation was started after Dropbox reported child sexual abuse material had been uploaded to an account. Denton was identified as the account holder.
After a search warrant and interview with detectives, Denton was charged with five counts of possession of child pornography and arrested at his home at Golden Gate Estates.
During the search, detectives found multiple electronic devices that need to be analyzed.
The investigation is still ongoing.
