A woman was arrested Wednesday on accusations of being the getaway driver for her husband.
Crystal Garza, 32, was arrested after her husband, Christopher Townsend, was arrested and charged with committing multiple armed robberies in Collier County. Townsend has been in jail since February.
Detectives say Garza drove her husband to the businesses. Townsend is then accused of robbing each business while Garza was allegedly his lookout and getaway driver.
Garza was arrested and charged in connection with the five armed robberies that happened around Immokalee in January and February.
