A black bear was seen wandering in a Fort Myers neighborhood and cemetery Friday night.
The bear was spotted in the McGregor Reserve neighborhood by a resident who saw the bear roaming across their yard.
The bear then headed to the Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetery. It is believed the bear was able to enter the cemetery by climbing over a knocked-down wire fence.
The employees at the cemetery say they have seen foxes wander through the graveyard, but never a bear.
The management checked the grounds, but the bear was already gone.
You are advised to call the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission if you see a bear.
