Vladiuir Nunez, 44, accused of indecent exposure, was arrested in Cape Coral on Monday.
The Cape Coral Police Department says that the man was wearing a cream gray-colored shirt with a yellow undershirt and was yelling and screaming in the vicinity of a children's bus stop. He was also throwing vapes at people's cars.
As officers were responding, Cape Coral Police Department dispatch relayed multiple calling parties reporting that the male was in the process of taking his clothing off while screaming threats to murder their families.
After being told law enforcement was being called, the male reportedly began dressing himself. Multiple residents nearby on their back porches had a direct line of sight of the male around SE 47Th Terrace.
Nunez put his clothes back on and tried to run after seeing the officers, and led them on a chase before they used a controlled takedown to gain control of him. While attempting to gain control of Nunez, he was actively tensing his arms and trying to pull away. Eventually, Nunez was detained.
Nunez is facing multiple charges, indecent exposure, disturbing peace, resisting an officer without violence, loitering and prowling, and simple assault.
This is Nunez's 18th arrest in 12 years.
