A controlled burn is underway in Cape Coral on Wednesday. The smoke from the fire is filling the air in northwest Cape Coral.
According to the Florida Fire Service reporting system, 20 piles are being burned for land clearing in two locations north of Jacaranda Parkway W and Wilmington Parkway near the Yucca Pens Preserve.
