Students in Collier County are spreading kindness this summer, one cereal box at a time.
There are kids in the community who don't have access to a healthy breakfast when school's not in session, so students at Laurel Oaks Elementary are working to change that.
They're collecting cereal for families in need.
Some students have even set up lemonade stands to raise money to buy boxes. A 4th grader named Bentley just raised $850 for the cause while also quenching thirst.
If you want to help with the Cereal for Summer kindness campaign, you can drop off cereal boxes at Lauren Oaks Elementary between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. through May 20. It's located at 7800 Immokalee Road.
