Members of an area firefighting team do more than put out smoke and flames. They're helping neighbors put food on the table in “Positively Gulf Coast.”
Members of the Iona McGregor Fire District's Administrative team recently helped out at the Gladiolus Food Pantry . That's the little green house on Gladiolus Drive.
Every Wednesday, people get to shop for groceries here. The Iona team helped stock the freezer, load carts and of course share smiles.
They said they can't wait to return next week!
