A truck carrying steel rebar overturned on Estero Boulevard at Bay Road Friday morning, causing severe traffic delays on the island.
At least one lane of Estero Blvd was closed for hours while crews worked to clear the rebar and the vehicle. The roadway has since been reopened.
The cause of the crash is currently unknown.
