A Fort Myers man has been arrested by the Lee County Sheriff's Office after being accused of robbing a business and shooting an employee.
Levi Ross Jr., 46, is accused of entering the Royal Arcade on US-41 with a mask on, pointing a firearm at an employee and demanding money. During the robbery, an employee was shot in the hand.
When deputies arrived, they said located Ross running through the Pine Manor neighborhood, where a foot pursuit ended with him being shocked with a Taser and taken into custody.
The shooting victim had non-life-threatening injuries. The firearm deputies say was used in the robbery was located hidden in a neighboring business.
Ross faces charges of robbery with a firearm, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, shooting within an occupied private building, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, false ID to law enforcement and resisting an officer without violence.
