Authorities are looking for a man for violating his probation by not showing up to court after he was arrested for trying to meet a 14-year-old boy for sex.
Bodler Laplante, 35, was arrested after he connected with who he thought was a 14-year-old boy on social media. They exchanged sexual pictures and messages before deciding to meet.
After he arrived, Laplante was met with detectives who revealed themselves as the "boy".
He was arrested and released the next day with the promise that he would show up for all court hearings. But instead, Laplante failed to appear, forfeiting a $50,000 bond and creating a new warrant for his arrest.
Laplante is 6’3” and 215 pounds and was last known to be living in the central Fort Myers area.
