Detectives have been looking for a man for over a week for violating his probation after he spent a year in prison.
Ja’Vion Ward, 21, went to jail for a year and got 48 months probation after he pleaded down to grand theft when he was accused of robbing a gas station at gunpoint, then ditching a duffle bag with the gun, $2,000 and 14 boxes of Newport cigarettes.
Ward has been committing felonies since the age of 17. He has three local bookings on additional charges of the possession of a weapon by a juvenile and probation violations.
He is 5 feet 10 inches tall, 160 pounds, with a tattoo of "blessed" written on his face, "Ashley" on his left arm and "239" with a sun on his right arm.
When arrested, Ward will be held without bond in the Lee County Jail.
