The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office has divers at a pond in North Fort Myers on Tuesday.
The pond is off East Mariana Avenue in the area between Whidden Road and Electric Lane. There are CCSO marine unit divers in the pond.
According to Lee County Sheriff's Office, they are assisting CCSO with a case, but this is not an active investigation.
This is less than a mile from where Gwendolyn Girard lives. Charlotte County deputies arrested Girard on Monday after she was accused of stabbing a 12-year-old girl .
