The Centennial Park recreation center, pool, sports fields and park amenities in Charlotte County will be closed for a multi-agency training exercise on May 30.
The areas of the park will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The agencies involved in the exercise are the Charlotte County Public Safety Department, Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, Charlotte County Schools, and more.
There is no actual danger to the public.
Access to Centennial Boulevard will also be restricted at U.S. Route 41 and State Road 776 starting at approximately 8:30 a.m.
