On Thursday morning, Lee County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a man overdosing at a home in Fort Myers.
A deputy found the overdosed man in the closet, not breathing and without a pulse.
The deputy gave the man naloxone and performed CPR on him. A few minutes later, the man began breathing again.
The LCSO Narcotics Unit warns that many counterfeit drugs can be laced with fentanyl, and even the smallest amount can cause overdose and death.
