A new lagoon experience is now open in North Fort Myers.
Brightwater Lagoon features six acres of clear blue water, surrounded by sandy beaches and lounge chairs. It has on-site amenities like a swim-up bar, splash pad and a giant inflatable obstacle course.
"There's nothing like this in Southwest Florida, and we love the opportunity to host folks and enjoy the space," said Jimmy Cruz, the General Manager of Brightwater Lagoon.
On Friday, Brightwater Lagoon had a ribbon cutting with local leaders, live performances and a guest appearance from a mermaid.
It's located at 8630 Sunny Page Lane.
