Thursday is another Gulf Coast Weather Impact Day, as showers and storms are anticipated throughout the Gulf Coast.
Shower and thunderstorm activity is forecast to begin Thursday afternoon and last throughout the evening. Winds from the Southeast will push that shower activity toward coastal locations.
Heavy downpours, lightning and gusty winds are possible beyond our afternoon hours, with the most likely time from 3 to 7 p.m.
Areas prone to flooding could see some ponding under heavier downpours.
Drier weather is expected by Friday.
