For this year's Father's Day weekend, you will not need a license to go freshwater fishing
Starting Saturday, you won't need a license to fish in freshwater.
Normally, a license would be $17 for Floridians and $47 for non-residents.
Both residents and visitors can take part in the license-free weekend, as long as they follow normal limit restrictions.
