A man was found guilty in a federal court in Miami for allegedly posing as a flight attendant to obtain free flights on commercial airplanes.
Tiron Alexander, 35, was found guilty on June 5 of wire fraud and entering a secure area of an airport by false pretenses.
From 2018 to 2024, Alexander is accused of booking free flights on an airline carrier’s website that was only available to pilots and flight attendants.
Alexander was able to fly on 34 flights with an air carrier without paying for them by posing as a flight attendant who worked for other airlines.
During the six-year period, Alexander booked more than 120 free flights under false pretenses.
Alexander is scheduled to be sentenced on Aug. 25.
