The Vita-Warehouse Corp. is recalling its B12 vitamin gummies because they may contain peanuts.
The company released an allergy alert for its brands Welby, Berkley-Jensen and Vita-Globe. The gummies were sold at Aldi and BJ's stores nationwide and online.
No allergic reactions have been reported so far.
The recall comes after routine testing was done by Aldi to verify accuracy in labeling. One test found a potential presence of peanuts. Even though Vita's internal testing did not find any presence of peanuts, the recall was conducted out of caution.
Anyone who has an allergy concern and has bought one of these recalled products is urged to throw it away or return it to the store for a full refund.
