Residents in North Fort Myers are expressing frustration over a home on Powell Creek Circle, which they claim has become a dumping ground. They say the situation has persisted for years despite filing numerous complaints.

Neighbors describe the property as dangerous and unhealthy, filled with old appliances and piles of trash. They also allege that an unpermitted addition was built during hurricane season to accommodate more junk. Residents claim animals roam freely around the area with no one taking responsibility.

Jessica Taylor, a neighbor, said the entire neighborhood is upset, adding, "There's two houses in this community that's for sale, and they can't sell the home because who wants to live next to that?"

Taylor said she has approached the homeowner offering community assistance to clean up, but she says, "He just screams at me."

Neighbors plan to address their concerns at the next county commission meeting on Tuesday. WINK News has reached out to the county for comment.
