Superintendent to visit Lee County schools on first day of classes

School starts next Monday, and Lee County schools Superintendent Dr. Denise Carlin and other members of the executive leadership team will visit students and staff throughout the district. 

Starting at 5:45 a.m., Dr. Carlin and school board chair Sam Fisher will visit the South Zone Bus Compound for the driver sendoff. 

At 8:15 a.m., Dr Carlin will welcome students and staff at Trafalgar Elementary School in Cape Coral for their first day of classes.

At the same time, Regional Associate Superintendent Chuck Vilardi will welcome students and staff to school at Caloosa Elementary School, also in Cape Coral. 

Regional Associate Superintendent Cherise Trent heads to Orange River Elementary School at 10:30 a.m. to welcome students and staff back to school. 

At noon, Regional Associate Superintendent Angela Nader will welcome students and staff back to classes at Varsity Lakes Middle School in Lehigh Axewa.

Dr. Carlin wraps up the day at Treeline Elementary School in Fort Myers, just in time for dismissal. 

The district said throughout the day, the executive leadership team will visit several other schools in the district.
