Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach is gearing up for a special celebration on Jimmy Buffett Day and Labor Day Weekend.
On Friday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the resort will host its second annual "Day of Service," honoring the late Jimmy Buffett's dedication to community service.
The resort, in partnership with My Autism Connection, will focus on creating a supportive environment for autistic adults. MAC, a nonprofit organization, provides support services and opportunities for skill development towards independence. The organization serves Southwest Florida and nearby areas, fostering authentic friendships, enhancing job readiness and promoting social engagement.
In early 2025, Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach earned its Autism Double-Checked (ADC) Certification, highlighting its commitment to inclusive and neurodiverse-friendly hospitality.
The resort will host a Carnival of Fun on the Sunset Terrace and in the Compass Rose Ballroom. The event will feature games, activities, crafts and sensory-specific opportunities for all ages.
Drink specials are available throughout the weekend, served in a limited-edition commemorative cup. Proceeds from the sale of each drink will support MAC.
All Margaritaville communities and properties will participate in a brand-wide Day of Service on Jimmy Buffett Day and the following Labor Day Weekend. They aim to honor Buffett's legacy by supporting organizations around the world.
