A video capturing a dangerous road rage incident in Fort Myers has surfaced, showing two drivers in a heated confrontation on Winkler Avenue near Veronica Shoemaker Boulevard. The situation escalated quickly, with witnesses fearing for their safety.

Kaylee T. from Lehigh Acres said, "I had my son in the car. I was like, Get in the car. I'm leaving. I almost left him. I wasn't. Nothing else mattered at that point."

Kaylee, her son, and Jacob Taylor found themselves caught behind the aggressive drivers, who were smashing into each other like bumper cars in the middle of the street.

Jacob Taylor, also from Lehigh Acres, recalled, "But then she hopped out of the car and started screaming stuff like, I remember, she said, I'm gonna kill you. And that's when I seen the gun. I started getting in the car and tell the cops she had a gun."

The incident, which took place on a busy Monday afternoon, left the siblings shocked that no arrests or charges have been filed yet. A white sedan and a black SUV were seen engaging in a physical altercation, with one driver allegedly brandishing a gun.

Kaylee expressed concern, "That's reckless driving. There's a school right there as well, and you're putting everybody else on the road in danger."

Jacob added, "No charges being brought upon them is kind of crazy, especially when someone pulled a gun on the other driver and they physically both hit each other, and they got away scot free."

WINK News reached out to the Fort Myers Police Department, which confirmed that the incident is under investigation, but no further details have been provided.
