Christopher Horne Jr., who is accused on involvement in the death of Kayla Rincon-Miller in Cape Coral, is set for a plea hearing.
The hearing is set to take place at the Lee County Courthouse Friday at 8:30 a.m.
It has been over a year since Rincon-Miller's death, which occurred last March.

Rincon-Miller was walking with friends from the Coralwood Movie Theater in Cape Coral to a nearby McDonald’s when an SUV approached them. The people in the vehicle attempted to rob the group, and during the incident, Kayla was shot and killed.
Cape Coral police identified and arrested two 16-year-olds, Thomas Stein and Christopher Horne Junior, who were involved in the incident. However, authorities do not believe they were the ones who pulled the trigger.
Both teens plead not guilty last September. They were also charged as adults.
