The Downtown Fort Myers Music Walk invited music lovers of all ages for a night of free music and fun. The event kicked off at 6 p.m.
WINK News reporter Zoe Warner was on the scene to capture the lively atmosphere as the event came to a close.
Attendees had the chance to enjoy a variety of bands, indulge in delicious food, and even watch balloon animals being made for children. The Music Walk, held on the third Friday of each month, offered something for everyone, from jazz and blues to rock and roll.
"The alcohol, the drinks, the music, the people," said one attendee, highlighting the vibrant energy of the event.
Another attendee expressed their love for the musicians, saying, "The bass players, they're awesome, love the bass."
"I like the music," said a visitor, while another added, "The music is wonderful in Fort Myers, Fort Myers is great."
"All of it is great, I wish it was every weekend," said an enthusiastic participant.
A guest praised the event's atmosphere, saying, "I think just like the culture here, everyone here is pretty chill. It's a great environment, it's fun to be out here."
"Love it, School of Rock, we like to see them, we like to see him, we got to DHOP, it's just a great atmosphere," said another music fan.
One attendee had a tip for future visitors, saying, "We look forward to it, come between 5 and 5:30, that way you get parking."
Though the evening's festivities are coming to an end, the Music Walk will return next month, promising another night of fantastic bands and community fun in Downtown Fort Myers.
