DeSoto County deputies conduct active death investigation near NW Eucalyptus Ave.

The DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office is on scene conducting an active death investigation near NW Eucalyptus Avenue.

Deputies provided information regarding the death investigation on their Facebook page at around 5:10 p.m. on Friday. 

It remains unknown how long law enforcement has been at the scene or how many people are involved. 

The sheriff’s office asks residents to avoid the area and seek alternative routes while they conduct their active investigation.
