Deputies investigate shooting in Lehigh Acres neighborhood

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. —

A shooting occurred at 3 a.m. Saturday on 3rd Street Southwest in Lehigh Acres, where the Lee County Sheriff's Office confirmed that those involved were injured but are expected to survive.

Deputies were also investigating a blue sedan with its trunk open and a silver car in the driveway.

Detectives were seen entering and exiting the house throughout the morning.

The violent crimes unit detectives were investigating what led up to the shooting.

Just two streets away, there was another scene at a home on Hanna Avenue with multiple deputies, but that scene cleared earlier on Saturday morning.

According to LCSO, that scene is connected to the shooting investigation.
