Great Wolf Lodge turns up the winter magic with 'Snow Land'

It can be tough to feel that holiday spark when the sun is shining, and there is no snow in sight.

Great Wolf Lodge is fixing that with Snow Land, a full-on winter makeover that brings the North Pole straight to Southwest Florida.

Walk into the lobby, and it feels like you stepped into a holiday movie. There is a giant Christmas tree, Santa’s sleigh, and decorations tucked into every corner. And yes, Santa himself is here Monday through Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. through December 23, ready for photos and wish lists.

The lobby is packed with activities to keep the entire family entertained. Kids can make jingle bell bracelets, stretch them out in holiday yoga, or jump into festive games. 

But the star of the show is the snow globe experience.

Step inside the life-sized snow globe, and it feels like winter has finally arrived. Guests are surrounded by Christmas music, glowing lights, and even a fireplace. There is cookie decorating, hot cocoa, and a light show that makes the whole space feel magical.

General Manager for the Great Wolf Lodge,  Alp Erol, said it is excellent for people who want that winter wonderland in the Sunshine state, "This snow globe experience is open to overnight guests and to anyone who just wants to drop in," he said, "families get to sit around the table, craft, share a meal and make those holiday memories everyone loves."

Even the food joins the fun. The menu features a winter wonderland brownie, seasonal drinks for both kids and adults, and a pot pie that instantly warms you up. And for anyone who waits all year for peppermint season, a peppermint milkshake is ready to go.

The water park is also offering a seasonal deal. Starting today through the end of December, a weekday season pass is $65 and remains valid until April, giving families a few extra months of splash time.

With snow, cocoa, and holiday magic packed into every corner, Great Wolf Lodge is making winter feel a little closer to home.
