Juvenile hit in hit-and-run near Lely High School in Collier County

A hit-and-run incident occurred near the intersection of Texas Avenue and Trammel Street, just outside Lely High School on Thursday.

Collier authorities reported that a juvenile was hit, sustaining minor injuries, and was transported to the hospital as a precaution.

The vehicle involved left the scene, and an investigation is underway to locate it.
