A Dense Fog Advisory is in place for portions of Southwest Florida

Sunday kicks off on a foggy note with a Dense Fog Advisory in place until 10 a.m. for portions of Southwest Florida.

Once the foggy conditions improve by late morning, mostly sunny skies can be expected through the day.

Highs will be in the low 80s by the afternoon.

Monday

Mostly sunny skies stick around for the start of the week with temperatures yet again warmer-than-normal, in the upper 70s to low 80s.

This week

Our next cold front inches closer come Tuesday. As the front ushers south, expect breezy conditions at times and passing clouds.

A stray shower can't be ruled out, but rain chances don't look promising with this front.

Highs by Tuesday afternoon will only be in the upper 60s, with overnight lows into Wednesday in the 40s.

Beach and boating

Light northeast winds kick off the day around 5 to 10 knots, shifting to the southwest later in the day.

The Gulf wave heights are reaching 1 to 2 feet with a light chop in our bays and inland waters. The Gulf water temperature remains steady at 71 degrees.
