1 in custody following police response on First Street in downtown Fort Myers

FORT MYERS, Fla. —

Police swarmed an area along First Street near Woodford Avenue in downtown Fort Myers on Monday night.

According to the Fort Myers Police Department, one person is in custody pending the investigation.

Gulf Coast News asked FMPD for more information on the nature of the investigation and if anyone was injured.
