The Weather Authority is tracking the arrival of a cold front, which will carry over into New Year's.

The Weather Authority's Zach Maloch said, "Tonight, it's going to be one of the coolest days since last January, as a cold front moves in this morning. We're going to see temperatures into the 60s today, 30s and 40s overnight, and that cold air is set to linger over the next couple of days."

Tuesday

The cold front our WINK Weather Authority meteorologists have been tracking has arrived, and colder temperatures are moving in.

Highs on Tuesday are forecast to remain in the 60s.

We'll see clouds clearing throughout the afternoon. Colder temperatures arrive overnight.

Wednesday

A Cold Weather Advisory will be in effect until 9 a.m. on Wednesday morning, as temperatures will start in the 30s and lower 40s across Southwest Florida.

Inland communities have the potential to see some frost, as well.

Temperatures will be slow to warm with highs in the 60s on Wednesday afternoon.

Plan for the 40s if you are going to be outdoors to ring in the New Year.

Thursday

Cold temperatures stick around for the first morning of 2026.

Temperatures will be in the 30s to lower 40s Thursday morning, with patchy frost possible for some of our inland communities.

We'll see plenty of sunshine, with highs climbing into the upper 60s to lower 70s on Thursday afternoon.
