Driver arrested in Estero, accused of stealing vehicle and fleeing from authorities

ESTERO, Fla. —

A driver was arrested near U.S. Route 41 along Corkscrew Road in Estero after a traffic stop for a reported stolen vehicle on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the driver fled on foot but was caught. FHP said the incident is under investigation at this time.
