2 hospitalized after fiery crash on US-41 near Coconut Point in Lee County

LEE COUNTY, Fla. —

Two people had to be taken to the hospital after a fiery crash shut down part of U.S. 41 at Coconut Point in Lee County.

According to Estero Fire Rescue, one of the people who was injured was taken to the hospital as a trauma alert.

Gulf Coast News has reached out to Estero Fire Rescue officials to learn more about the current conditions of the two people who were injured.
