Crews battle fire inside home's garage along Spoonbill Lane in Gateway

LEE COUNTY, Fla. —

Flames broke out at a home along Spoonbill Lane in the Gateway area of Lee County on Thursday morning.

According to the South Trail Fire Protection and Rescue Service District, firefighters were at the scene and extinguished the blaze. No injuries were reported, and the fire was contained to the garage.

South Trail Fire told Gulf Coast News its fire marshal and fire investigator are investigating as part of standard procedure.
