Detectives look to ID suspect connected to Lehigh Acres vehicle burglary spree

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. —

Detectives say a group of people, including the person pictured, who they want to identify, are accused of targeting cars in Lehigh Acres on Dec. 23.

According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, the person they hope someone can identify, as well as others, are accused of trying to break into multiple vehicles around Manatee Street and Nyasa Avenue in the early morning.

Vehicles that we unlocked had items the suspects are accused of stealing, while they are also accused of tampering with locked vehicles.

Crime Stoppers said the suspects tried again on Winwood Circle and were caught on camera leaving the area and dropping items like clothing, jewelry and a sourdough kit.
