Lee County deputies searching for suspects in connection with 7-Eleven robbery

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. —

Lee County deputies are seeking the public's help in identifying two men after a robbery at a 7-Eleven in Lehigh Acres.

According to SWFL Crime Stoppers, the incident happened at 2930 Meadows Road shortly before 5:30 a.m. Thursday.

Investigators said the two men entered the store and demanded cash from the register. According to SWFL Crime Stoppers, the victim told detectives that one of the suspects might have been armed with an airsoft rifle.

The duo fled from the store empty-handed after a brief scuffle.
