Crews battle brush fire near Pinetree Circle in Port LaBelle

LABELLE, Fla. —

Fire crews responded to a brush fire near a residential area along Pinetree Circle in LaBelle on Friday afternoon.

According to the Florida Forest Service, the fire was approximately five acres and is 100 percent contained.

FFS said that four homes were initially in danger, but that number has since gone down, and no injuries have been reported.
